ABOUT
The Apple Press is an 18th Century barn conversion, offering spacious and comfortable self-catering holiday accommodation. Situated just three miles from the county town of Taunton in Somerset, Sweethay is a quiet hamlet in a secluded, peaceful setting.

OUR ROOMS
A light and spacious garden room offers direct access to a private courtyard. This room has a king-sized bed which can also be separated to make two singles. It is ideal for those with reduced mobility due to its ensuite shower room with WC and sink.

On the first floor there are two further bedrooms, with the original retained scissor trusses to add plenty of character.
The generous master bedroom has a king-size bed and plenty of room for a travelcot if needed.

The twin room offers two standard single beds.
​
The modern bathroom has a full-size bath, WC and sink.

PRICES
The Apple Press is available all year round for stays of 2 nights or more.
​
The price per night is £135 Monday-Thursday nights, and £160 on weekends (Friday-Sunday).
​
For groups of more than 4 people there will be an extra charge of £20 per person per night.
​
Longer stays may be available, contact us for prices and information.
​
A £120 booking / breakages deposit will secure your dates. This is refundable one week after your departure from The Apple Press. However, if you cancel before paying the full amount, this deposit will not be refunded.

Please note: we are unable to accept credit cards. We can take payment via bank transfer or cheque. Please let us know if you would like to pay by instalments as this can be arranged.
